Conquer Himachal Pradesh’s huge mountains Beas Kund Trek and reach a height of 3,810 meters to see summit views of Manali’s large mountains like Friendship Peak, Shitidhar, Ladakhi, and Hanuman Tibba. If you’re lucky, you might catch a view of Mt Indrasen, DeoTibba, and other peaks from the PirPanjal range. When you spend the chilly night stargazing at the huge expanse of star-studded night skies in your tent during the thrilling trekking trip, you’ll have a wonderful camping session.

The Beas Kund, which is revered as a holy lake, is the original source of the Beas River and is located in the Kullu Valley. Rishi Vyas is said to have had his daily bath in the clean water of this lake, which sits at an elevation of 3,650 meters under the shadow of Mt. Hanuman Tibba and the Seven Sisters. The trail to Beas Kund snaking and crossing through the Solang valley provides a revitalizing experience, and the journey is full of surprises at every turn. The Beas Kund Trip, which is regarded as one of the easier treks in the Himachal Himalayan region, is also a three-day trek from Manali, a popular hill station at a height of 2,050 meters.

Beas Kund Trek

The Beas Kund Trek begins in Manali and takes you through SolangNallah to Dhundi at 3,150 meters. The trek begins with a gradual ascent from SolangNallah and takes around 5–6 hours to complete. After a gradual climb over the moraine, the road from Dhundi winds upward to Bakarthach, which is at an elevation of 3,300 meters and leads to Beas Kund.

May and June are the finest months to go on the Beas Kund Trek. The snow melts and clears the path throughout these months, making trekking simpler. You may also see ice-capped mountains and the surrounding areas. During these months, you will be treated to some spectacular scenic sights. During the rainy season, August and September, however, you should avoid Beas Kund Trekking. The area sees a lot of rain, and landslides can cause the paths to get obstructed. Rain and snowy hills are not a nice combination for a rookie trekker. So stay away from these months. October is a frigid month in this part of the world, but it’s also a good time to start planning your expedition before winter arrives.

October is the greatest month to visit if you want to experience the cool and frigid environment of the area, as it marks the beginning of the winter season. However, if you are a seasoned trekker, the Beas Kund Trek can be attempted in the winter. Beginners are recommended not to attempt the walk during the winter months because there are numerous impediments in the way.
